Rise Armament Debuts Gen 2 RA-902 Stinger Handguard

Rise Armament recently introduced its newest AR-15 component, the Gen 2 RA-902 Stinger Handguard. The updated handguard features improvements to both style and function.

The RA-902 Stinger Handguard incorporates anti-rotation tabs to ensure proper positioning on the rifle. Also, the handguard’s design features updates on the muzzle end as well, with more modern angles for a more contemporary appearance, according to Rise Armament.

The 15-inch rail utilizes a free-floating design. Additionally, M-LOK technology provides ample attachment points for a host of aftermarket accessories. The RA-902 Stinger also includes a section of top-mounted Picatinny rail as well.

The unit delivers a slimline profile with a comfortable center grip point, according to Rise Armament. The entire rail is precision CNC machined from 6061-T6 billet aluminum. Also, the handguard sports a hard anodized, flat black finish to weather all the abuse you can dish out.

Coming in at an overall length of 15 inches, the Stinger will fit many AR-type builds. Weighing 12 ounces, and with a 1.35-inch overall inside diameter, the Stinger provides functionality for all forms of shooting, from tactical to competition pursuits.
