Rick Ector on “Lock n Load” – Avoiding Dog Attacks (Michigan CPL Class)

I made another appearance on Bill Frady’s “Lock n Load” to deliver another installment of my “Planet Rick” feature. On that episode, Bill and I discussed the topic of vicious dogs. A few days ago, a 9 year-old was mauled to death by three dogs in Detroit. It served as the inspiration for this episode’s topic. We discussed several considerations that one should keep in mind. To begin, the discussion addressed pre-attack indicators and what actions you should avoid to goad the canine from actually attacking. Then, a survey of tactics from all over the Internet was covered as to how one can mitigate the physical harm that can be inflicted by an attacking dog. Finally, I give my suggestion along with a few cautionary notes. It is an episode that you do not want to miss.
