Revisiting Mad Dog McCree after 30 years (VIDEO)

One of the first live-action first-person shooter video games on the market, if you grew up in the 1990s odds are that you had a shootout at some point with Mad Dog’s gang.
Filmed in and around New Mexico with local actors, the LaserDisc-based game hit arcades the same year that Phil Collins and Vanilla Ice had number-one singles and has been an icon ever since.
In the above mini-doc from the Great Big Story, they visit Russ Dillen, the actor who played the OG Mad Dog, as well as others behind the game to get the back story.
