A resident and a suspected home intruder were both shot during an attempted home invasion on Indianapolis’ south side. Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department Officers were called to the area of East Hanna Avenue just before 5 p.m. Monday. One of the residents was shot, and one of the suspects we believe was shot,” said IMPD Officer Jim Gillespie. Both men were taken to the hospital.
