Big Green has added a new caliber to their Magpul series of Model 700 rifles introduced earlier this year — the super popular 6.5mm Creedmoor.
When the Model 700 Magpul debuted at SHOT Show earlier this year in .260 Remington and .308 Win, the murmurs around Remy’s booth were all about Creedmoor and the firearms maker has given the people what they want with their new offering.
Like the other rifles in the Magpul series, the gun uses a 22-inch heavy free-floated barrel and a short action with a tactical bolt handle. Ready for big boy cans, they come with a threaded muzzle to accept a suppressor, but what really identifies the line is the reinforced polymer Magpul Hunter stock. Adjustable for length of pull, the stock has three comb height inserts and an aluminum bedding block.
Finally, they use Remington’s externally adjustable X-Mark trigger with an oversized trigger guard.
Overall length is 41.5-inches and come complete with a five-round Magpul detachable mag.
MSRP is $1,175
