R22FSFSL-224: A Look at Windham Weaponry’s .224 Valkyrie Entry
A number of companies have started rolling out rifles chambered in Federal’s new .224 Valkyrie cartridge; one of the latest to join the party is Maine-based Windham Weaponry, which recently unveiled its R22FSFSL-224 model.

The R22FSFSL-224 features a 22-inch 416R stainless steel barrel with a 1:7 twist. The barrel is fluted and threaded to 1/2-28 for muzzle devices. Equipped with a forged 7075 T6 aluminum flat top upper receiver with a hardcoat black anodized finish, this rifle also comes with a Windham 15-inch free-float forend; Luth-AR buttstock with an adjustable buttplate and cheek rest; Hogue overmolded beavertail grip; and a Hyperfine EDT DM trigger. No sights are included, but the rifle can accommodate them at the front and rear.
