How about some pithier examples of hoplophobia, in the the style of Jeff “You Don’t Need an AK” Foxworthy? If you think a “shoulder thingie that goes up” is part of a deadly weapon rather than a simple shrug, you might be a hoplophobe. Your turn! . . .

I don’t like horror movies. There is nothing attractive about sitting and waiting for the monster to jump out of the dark screen at me, even though the fear is irrational.
