My girlfriend (who isn’t opposed to firearms) thinks I’ve crossed the line when I told her that I’m only three guns away from a decent collection. I defined that as at least one each of the following:

  • full-sized modern pistol
  • compact CCW pistol
  • 1911 in .45
  • .357 magnum revolver
  • home defense shotgun
  • hunting shotgun

  • hunting rifle, bolt-action
  • AR-15
  • AK-pattern rifle
  • Battle rifle (.308 in semi-auto)
  • .22LR plinking rifle
  • lever-action rifle in centerfire
