Question of the Day: What Gun-Related Item Made You Facepalm Lately?

Let’s be honest – I’m a pedantic gun owner. I will be the first to admit it and I will proudly wear that title because I make a concerted effort to make certain I’m right whenever possible. As my friend Ralph likes to point out, I don’t suffer fools kindly – and he’s right to an extent. One thing that really aggravates me in the firearm industry is the ignorance of the industry itself. There’s also an attitude about it that embraces knowing less rather than more, which I find remarkably damaging long term since the people of the anti-gun movement pride themselves on academic knowledge. Some folks I’ve done business with can barely identify the difference between ‘your’ and ‘you’re’ when constructing a sentence. One of my customers sent me an email this evening with a cringe-worthy advertisement that made me roll my eyes so far back into my head that I’m pretty sure I detached my own retinas . . .

The item in question?

The Spike’s Tactical Compressor SBR – with a website write up that should make any well-versed gun owner cringe. Ironically, the $2,975 price tag is the least objectionable part about the ad.
