Post-election for #NeverTrump Supporters

U.S.A. –-(Ammoland.com)- The NRA will not get the credit deserved in the Trump win, and #nevertrump sold us out.

In North Carolina and Ohio better than 1 in 10 of all TV ads were paid for by NRA funding. In Pennsylvania, it was 1 in 20. Additionally, the NRA had massive get out the vote campaigns in every swing state. As a gun owner and 2nd Amendment supporter there is no surprise for me that these States voted to preserve their 2nd Amendment rights. The NRA invested $50 million in preserving our rights. Super PACs run by Carl Rove and other #nevertrump Washington insiders sat out the election, leaving gun owners and the NRA to shoulder the burden. (A note on this at the end of the article.)

Remember the GOP was supposed to lose the Senate? The NRA picked a handful of swing states and poured in money and volunteers. Senators’ Burr, Rubio, Blunt, Young, Heck, and Portman were all backed by the NRA. Only Heck in Nevada failed to win his seat. The Senate stayed in Republican hands.
