Polycase’s Inceptor ARX ammunition is a fascinating material manufactured from a polymer/copper blend. Its performance in bare gelatin and through four layers into denim, however, lags behind premium hollowpoints, and as the video shows above, completely fails through intermediate barriers.

Based on this performance I think that The Chopping Block is probably right that Polycase’s materials are mis-marketed. I think that ARX should go the way of the dodo, and that the brand should focus on the Inceptor RNP line and their excellent qualities as a frangible round that would likely excel in shoot houses and against steel targets.
