Police Officer Tweets Threats—Placed on Leave

In a case that is creating a huge firestorm on social media, a San Jose police officer, Phillip White, has been placed on paid administrative leave following his tweets this past weekend.

White, a 20 year veteran of the San Jose police department, tweeted this past weekend that anyone who threatens him or his family would be killed. He also let anyone who can’t breathe or think that their lives matter know that he would be at the movies, off-duty, with his gun.
