Phoenix Weaponry announces integrally suppressed hunting rifle

Phoenix Weaponry jumps into the integrally suppressed market with a new hunting rifle designed to cut down on extraneous noise in the field.
The 338-06 rifle pairs the Remington 700 action with a PTG fluted bolt and a tactical bolt knob. The rifle build utilizes a 24-inch custom Douglas barrel married to a titanium suppressor core and sleeve. Phoenix Weaponry says this combination results in a lightweight yet durable hunting rifle.
Tipping scales at under 8-pounds, the 338-06 comes with a 20 MOA rail in addition to a custom Bell and Carlson stock.
“This is your opportunity to shoot the heavy loads and high velocities in the field without paying the price with your hearing. None of us like spending the next three days wondering if there is a phone ringing somewhere,” Phoenix Weaponry said in a press release. “Not only is the rifle quiet, it is remarkably accurate, and consistently shoots sub MOA.”
Phoenix Weaponry offers the standard configuration but welcomes custom builds and tweaks to the base model at an additional cost.
