President's Outdoor Scholars Program at the University of Montevallo

Montevallo, AL – -(Ammoland.com)- The President’s Outdoor Scholars Program at the University of Montevallo has started sharing its special hunting and fishing trips with the rest of the world via its new YouTube series, “Outdoor Scholars TV.”

The fourth episode, released on July 22, 2018, follows Katelyn Howard on her first ever deer hunt.

According to William Crawford, director of the Outdoor Scholars Program, the program has impacted so many lives and has even introduced the outdoors to several students. Katelyn grew up in a home that did not hunt or fish. Since joining the Outdoor Scholars Program she has fallen in love with the outdoors so much so she has even introduced the outdoors to her family. This is just one of many successful stories from the Outdoor Scholars Program.

The Outdoor Scholars students had a blast in the first ever archery tournament that saw Garret Deavers and Ashley Hawk take home the top prizes.

In addition, Grant Deavers harvested his first deer on camera while hunting in Alabama on Christmas break.

This episode can be viewed now on the Outdoor Scholars YouTube channel.
