One couple, two opinions on carry preferences (VIDEO)

Some firearm instructors suggest couples should carry the same firearm and gear. The reasoning is sound. The items are interchangeable. But meet Jake and Morgan, a husband and wife who go against that logic. While they train, plan and attend classes together, they have very distinct opinions on their carry preference.
Morgan’s weapon of choice is a Taurus Model 605, a snub nose .357 magnum revolver that she carries in her purse. She said she likes the weight of it and how it shoots and the revolver gives her confidence because it won’t jam or fail when she needs it. She’s also a lot more accurate with it.

Jake currently carries a Smith & Wesson M&P BodyGuard .380 pistol with an appendix carry. He likes the smaller .380 and the appendix carry is much more comfortable for him. “I’m able to tuck it in there and all but forget it’s there. It’s smaller than my cell phone,” he said. He added that he thinks the pistol “has enough capability to stop any threat.”
