Officer Gets Salty With Perp Who Shot Him In Court

Having never been shot, I can’t do anything but imagine what it’s like. As a general thing, I don’t put myself in a position to get shot. Many who do are criminal scumbags who are trying to hurt others in the first place, but another group also puts themselves in harm’s way on a regular basis, and those are police officers.

An undercover officer in Florida was allegedly shot a few years ago by a suspect. The wounds were apparently fairly serious, but the officer survived. Now, the accused shooter is in court, and the officer had a gift for the defendant. You know, to show there were no hard feelings and all that.

A young Jacksonville man who ambushed and shot a Jacksonville police officer multiple times during a traffic stop in 2016 was sentenced to life behind bars Wednesday.

Kevin Rojas was smug in court when the officer called Rojas a coward and said he would have a tough time in prison. The officer then took out a tube of K-Y Jelly, a personal lubricant, and said: “You are going to need a lot of this.”
