Obama: Epic Gun Control Fail

You may remember our post about the lies the FBI told in regard to mass shootings. Let’s follow the trail and see how political the FBI reports really are, and see the “smoking gun” of gun control from Obama himself.

The initial report said that mass shootings were on a sharp rise from 2000 to 2013 with an average rise of 16%. There was an “increasing frequency of incidents” as stated by the authors.

Of course the White House ran with the report which was being reported by every major news station. The FBI released this report about six weeks before mid-term elections. The Obama machine was truly hoping that such statistics would drive all the Democrats to the polls to do their duty.

Just last week found Pete Blair and Hunter Martindale (who are co-authors) gave credence to the fact that their data was imperfect and that the news media “got it wrong when they reported mass shootings were on the rise”. Although they did not issue a misreport, the authors revealed it in a local academic paper.
