EDGEFIELD, S.C. -(Ammoland.com)- The National Wild Turkey Federation was pleased to see the Sportsmen’s Heritage And Recreational Enhancement or SHARE Act advance through the House Committee on Natural Resources yesterday in Washington.

“This is a win for the sportsmen and women of America and I am humbled to join with their voices to promote this common-sense legislation to advance their cause in Congress,” said bill sponsor Congressman Jeff Duncan.

The bill’s purpose is to provide for the preservation of sportsmen’s heritage and enhance recreation opportunities on Federal land. Titles within the Act range a breadth of topics sportsmen and women have long been concerned about. Titles include support of fishing protections; allocations for shooting ranges; Second Amendment issues on Federal Lands; open access to federal lands for hunting, fishing and shooting; bow, firearm and ammunition transportation; and the final delisting of gray wolves, to name a few.
