Delaware -(Ammoland.com)- DNREC’s Division of Fish & Wildlife today announced the five top entries chosen from its 2015 Delaware Fishing Photo Contest.

The winning photos will appear on the cover or inside the forthcoming 2016 Delaware Fishing Guide.

First place was awarded to Steve Rosemary of Lewes, for his photo titled “My First Catch!” of his granddaughter Cyena Williams surf fishing in the ocean at Cape Henlopen State Park.

The other contest winners are:

  • Second place: “Ella Evercasting,” by Amy Baldwin of Newark, for her photo of her daughter Ella casting her surf fishing rod at Delaware Seashore State Park.
  • Honorable mention: “Red, White and Bluegills,” by Randy Piascinski of Townsend, for his 4th of July photo of his daughter Paige with the bluegill she caught at Noxontown Pond near Townsend.
  • Honorable mention: “First Catch,” by Craig Rhoads portraying his daughter Avery with the black sea bass she caught while fishing in Rehoboth Bay.
  • Honorable mention: “Fishing Cousins,” by Steve Rosemary of Lewes, of Ayden Williams and Addison Varney working as a team to control their surf fishing …Read the Rest
