The National Rifle Association brings adds a new component to its Women’s Wilderness Escape program, partnering with Leupold and Kristy Titus to bring a women’s only training event to 2019.
The Leupold Academy Rifle & Pistol Instruction is a three day course running June 3-7 in Redmond, Oregon. The course will provide students with instruction on how to handle and shoot a scope rifle in addition to an optical sighted pistol. Pursue the Wild’s Kristy Titus will also be on hand to provide mentorship to female attendees, offering her expertise.
Women over the age of 18 are encouraged to attend, regardless of skill level. The NRA said that all range of women can benefit from the course and Titus’ expertise.

“Novice shooters, hunters, competitors and experienced shooters will all gain a wealth of knowledge and skills in this course,” the NRA said in a news release. “Leupold’s knowledgeable instructors will lead the course and teach each student to be comfortable and accurate with both firearm platforms. Kristy Titus will be in attendance
