The FN FiveseveN is a fine firearm, for what it is. As I pointed out in my review, non-law enforcement folks don’t have access to the FiveseveN’s higher-powered ammo, such as the SS198LF cartridge. A bullet whose 2050 FPS velocity gives the feds body armor-piercing capabilities, while maintaining the round’s flat-shooting flight characteristics. Nor can average Americans purchase the powerful SS190AP (armor piercing) cartridge. That’s by law, folks. But that’s not enough law for New Jersey’s Senate Law and Public Safety Committee.
