home-invasion

But soft, what light through yonder window breaks? It is the east, and Juliet is the sun.

Or not.

A Mississippi man wanted to visit a woman on Thursday night, but according to the Jones County Sheriff’s Department

WDAM reported:

Timothy Jefcoat, 33 of Soso, was trying to visit a woman at the home when police say he became belligerent and refused to leave.

According to the news release, the victim, a man at the residence, said Jefcoat then tried to force his way into the home.

The man then shot Jefcoat in the upper left chest.

While Jefcoat was receiving medical attention, deputies found over a gram of methamphetamine on his person.

Jefcoat was taken by helicopter to a local hospital where he is expected to recover.

This is one man who apparently never read Shakespeare’s work, or ever realized that you “don’t waste your love on somebody who doesn’t value it.”

Fortunately, that’s a lesson I hope he’ll only have to learn once.
