North Carolina Council of Churches Hates The Second Amendment

Pagan idols are fun, there’s Mercury- god of thieves and pranksters, Mars- god of war, even the sewers in Rome have their own god- Cloacina the cleanser, who presided over the Cloaca Maxima (“greatest drain”) that continues to exist today.

So when the North Carolina Council of Churches decided to waste their money on this billboard, it’s a reminder that some “Christian” churches are full of excrement.

The billboard is from the North Carolina Council of Churches, a statewide organization representing 18 Christian denominations in the state and 6,200 individual congregations. About 1.5 million North Carolinians are members of congregations under the Council’s umbrella, the council says.

“It will go up this week and stay in place for the next four weeks, another crucial message for all of us while gun violence continues to erupt all around,” the council said in a news release announcing the billboard.

Where are the Atheists? The separation of church and state aficionados? Funny how when the churches spoke against same-sex marriage, their threatened their tax exempt status, but when commie churches support commie causes, it’s all good.
