Night Optics USA announces its latest creation — the SVTS — a continuous calibration thermal riflescope series ahead of SHOT Show this week.
With three models, the Night Optics SVTS series delivers continuous calibration to allow users to efficiently and speedily identify targets. Night Optics says the goal is eliminate that frustrating freezing screen in the heat of the hunt.
The SVTS-80, the lineup’s entry level model, is equipped with Fusion technology to offer enhanced night vision with the bonus of a thermal overlay for quicker target identification at varying ranges. With core resolution of 80×60, the SVTS-80 features a 54-degree field of view night vision camera.
The mid-range model, the SVTS-320, and the high end model, the SVTS-640, both serve up Heat Tracker technology, designed to recognize the next heat signature. This mode boasts an arrow pointing to the target outside the visible screen. Sporting a quick select menu, waterproof construction and several reticle choices Night Optics says the options ensure faster target acquisition in addition to accuracy despite weather conditions. The SVTS-320 boasts a core resolution of 320×240 with display resolution at 640-480, while the long range SVTS-640 delivers core resolution
