Newspaper Editor Calls for Gun Owners to Be Treated Like Sex Offenders

Of all the dumb ideas that anti-gunners come up with this one has to be near the top of the list. But the paranoia of ignorant anti-protectionists would be laughable if it weren’t also directing the steps of our president.

The editor of the Baltimore Sun Tricia Bishop has come up with her own clever plan to equate being a gun owner with being a sex offender. Apparently in her mind they are equally disturbing even though gun ownership is not only protected by the 2nd amendment but is also one of the biggest deterrents in thwarting the very crimes committed by sex offenders.

Here is what the editor wrote in her column:

I’m less afraid of the criminals wielding guns in Baltimore, I declared as we discussed the issue, than I am by those permitted gun owners.
