Hobie’s MirageDrive® technology is a big favorite among anglers because of the hands free fishing it provides. It is all about using your legs for propulsion instead of your arms. The technology, already available in the inflatable i9S and i12S single kayaks and the i14T tandem, is now available in a new inflatable model. The i11 is the newest and lightest in Hobie’s inflatable line of kayaks. It is sure to be a hit for both fishing and recreational kayaking.

The i11 is the lightest weight model in the entire Hobie fleet. The low-profile design of the i11 includes Hobie’s Vantage Seating System for extreme comfort. The two air chambers on each side and drop stitched center chamber provide the stability needed for recreational use. Drop stitch refers to a method of construction that allows for much higher inflation pressures. Thousands of tiny threads connect the top and bottom layers of the floor, counterbalancing air pressure when it is inflated. This allows for remarkable structural rigidity (and increased performance) without sacrificing portability.
