New Jersey Youth Pheasant Hunt Saturday; Extra Afternoon Birds To Be Stocked

Trenton, NJ –-(Ammoland.com)- The NJDEP’s Division of Fish and Wildlife is conducting the annual Youth Pheasant Hunt this Saturday, November 1 2014.

The hunt provides an opportunity for young hunters to learn and experience hunting in a non-competitive atmosphere prior to the regular season opening day.

Registration for the morning’s guided hunts has closed but the following Wildlife Management Areas (WMAs) will re-open for self-guided hunting at 1:00 p.m. No registration is necessary for the self-guided hunt, but only those possessing …read more
