Look out, Aimpoint and Eotech. There are some new guys in town in the tactical optics market. It’s as though there is been epic struggle going on for the last fifteen years or longer. For the most part, everyone has taken their side. One side, helping to save the free world, is the iconic Aimpoint series of red dot optics. On the other side, the always-identifiable Eotech series of optics. And standing by themselves, hoping that that no one notices their gigantic slice of the Red Dot market share, stands Trijicon.

These three behemoths of the tactical optic market have pretty much dominated military, law enforcement, and tactically-minded civilian market forever, it seems. When many of us have gone to our local sporting goods stores, we have seen them in their display cases and gawked at what we thought would be the perfect accessory for our tactical rifles and carbines. Seeing them mounted on our military service members’ rifles hasn’t helped things much, either. Perhaps worst of all, many of us have seen them in video games like the Modern Warfare and Battlefield series first-person shooting games.
