Magpul has released its Enhanced Receiver Extension for both the AR15/M4 and SR25/M110.

Magpul’s AR15/M4 model is a seven-position, Mil-Spec sized, AR15/M4 profile buffer tube optimized to fit with the full line of Magpul Mil-Spec Carbine Stocks.

The SR25/M110 model is a 10-position, Mil-Spec sized, SR25/M110 profile buffer tube optimized to fit with the full line of Magpul Mil-Spec Carbine Stocks.

The Enhanced Receiver Extension is constructed of impact extruded 7075-T6 aluminum with Type III, Class 2 hard coat anodizing for an extremely hard, abrasion resistant surface.

The interior of the receiver extension features Everlube coating for enhanced corrosion resistance and reduced friction and wear. The additional position holes allow for more length-of-pull fitment options.

Due to the SR25/M110 model’s longer length, this receiver extension is compatible with most DPMS Gen 1 pattern 7.62×51 firearms and standard length AR15/M4 5.56×45 carbine buffers and springs. Standard length buffers are not compatible with this tube and the Bushmaster BAR-10 and Rock River Arms LAR-8. It will not fit the HK 417/MR762A1.
