Backpack maker Mystery Ranch introduced two new packs, the Pop-Up 18 and Pop-Up 28, designed to offer hunters a unique means to haul out a load.
The packs, available in 18 liter and 12 liter sizes, feature a frame that transform to allow day hunters to pack out meat using the Mystery Ranch Overload Shelf. The shelf does exactly as the backpack implies, popping up or extending in order to carry more.
“These packs are as unique as they are versatile. They haul the essentials like a daypack; you hardly know it’s there when you carry it,” said Tim Hoffer, Hunting Sales Manager. “But the best part is when it comes time to haul some serious weight, the frame flips into place and it’s a totally different beast. It’s like the Swiss Army knife of legit, hunting daypacks.”
Both packs are equipped with zippered accessory compartments on the lid as well as the front and boast side water bottle pockets and compression areas that hold tripods and trekking poles. The Pop-Up 18 adds top lid access to the main compartment
