A Minnesota man suspected of murdering his girlfriend with a bow and arrow and hiding her body in a tent then were living in was found with a gunshot wound by a man who had stopped by to pick him up for a job.

A Morgan, Minn., man who survived a self-inflicted gunshot wound is facing a charge that he killed his girlfriend with a bow and arrow earlier this summer at a makeshift campsite near Franklin.

Dwayne Alan Case, 29, was arrested Friday after it was determined he was medically stable to be discharged from the North Memorial Medical Center in Robbinsdale.

Case is now in custody at the Renville County Jail in Olivia and is expected to make his first court appearance Monday in Renville County District Court on a charge of intentional second-degree murder in the death of Elizabeth M. Gregg, 45, of Morgan.

Case stole what sounds like a Mosin-Nagant, a common and powerful World War-era Soviet bolt-action, rifle, and apparently attempted to commit suicide with it after allegedly murdering Gregg buy putting the barrel under his chin and pulling the trigger.
