Rosendale introduced and successfully carried Montana’s Ammunition Availability Act, which was passed, signed, and is now the law in Montana. He is rated A+ by the Montana Shooting Sports Association.

Montana – -(AmmoLand.com)- Dear MSSA Friends,

While working today, I heard a Jon Tester radio ad claiming that Matt Rosendale is fake. Here, as Paul Harvey used to say, is the rest of the story.

Montana Shooting Sports Association (MSSA) rates Rosendale as an A+. He gets an A because in the Legislature Rosendale voted 100% for the gun-related bills that MSSA tracked.

However, even that’s not enough to get a + from Montana Shooting Sports Association. MSSA only gives a + to legislators who have successfully carried one or more bills for MSSA, when I asked the legislator to do so, and for an issue the Montana Shooting Sports Association Board of Directors chose to place on MSSA’s legislative agenda.

Rosendale did that. I asked Matt to sponsor MSSA’s Ammunition Availability Act, in the 2015 session. That was Senate bill 122, to provide tax breaks, liability protection, and access to Montana economic development programs, all to encourage the manufacture of smokeless powder, small arms primers, and cartridge brass in Montana. Montana needs that.
