Lawrenceville, Ga. (Ammoland.com) – Bergara Rifles, a division of BPI Outdoors, has received the honor of being named the Minnesota Deer Hunters Association’s (MDHA) 2017 Gun of the Year. To give back to Minnesota, Bergara has created 60 limited edition B14 Timber rifles in .270, with each gun engraved with the MDHA logo, Gun of the Year verbiage and the gun number. Profits from the purchase of these rifles will go to support habitat projects on public land and youth shooting camps.

The Bergara was chosen for 2017 due to its beautifully crafted wood stock and its top of the line accuracy.

“Bergara is extremely pleased to receive this honor from the Minnesota Deer Hunters Association,” Ben Fleming, VP of Sales and Marketing for Bergara Rifles said. “Our hunting heritage is part of the very DNA that makes up every Bergara rifle. This limited edition series of the B14 Timber demonstrates MDHA’s and Bergara’s commitment to preserving our hunting traditions, as well as building the next generation of sport hunters.”
