MidwayUSA Receives 2015 Missouri Quality Award Site Visit

Columbia, MO -(AmmoLand.com)- MidwayUSA, an Internet Retailer of JUST ABOUT EVERYTHING for Shooting, Reloading, Gunsmithing and Hunting, recently welcomed a team of nine examiners from the Excellence in Missouri Foundation (EIMF) for a three-day site visit at their facility in Columbia, Missouri.

MidwayUSA was one of eight Missouri companies selected to receive a Missouri Quality Award (MQA) site visit in 2015, and the only applicant in the service sector to receive a site visit. The Missouri Quality Award follows the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award criteria for performance excellence and is presented annually to high-performing, Missouri-based businesses by the EIMF.

Over the last 23 years, 49 organizations have received 67 awards. Several organizations are multi-year recipients; it is important to note, past award recipients are not eligible to apply for the award for five full years after receipt.

A recipient of the 2008 Missouri Quality Award, MidwayUSA recognizes the application process as a Leadership and Development opportunity for Employees, and for the MidwayUSA organization as a whole, in alignment with their continued quest for performance excellence.
