Today, the House Local Government Committee approved House Bill 4795, as substituted, with a recommendation that it do pass. HB 4795 will now receive consideration by the full House of Representatives.
HB 4795, sponsored by Chairman Lee Chatfield (R-District 107), is important legislation aimed at protecting law-abiding gun owners from unlawful constraints on their Right to Keep and Bear Arms imposed by insubordinate local units of government. Thank you to everyone who was able to attend the committee hearing today in support of this critical bill.
