Michael Moore proposes repeal, replacement of 2nd Amendment

Documentary filmmaker Michael Moore has proposed a so-called 28th Amendment on gun control meant to repeal and replace the 2nd Amendment after the mass shooting in Las Vegas Sunday night left 59 dead and almost 500 injured.
The liberal activist posted his mock amendment to Facebook on Wednesday, calling for stricter gun control laws and arguing the 2nd Amendment was “ancient and outdated.”
The proposal read as follows: “A well regulated State National Guard, being helpful to the safety and security of a State in times of need, along with the strictly regulated right of the people to keep and bear a limited number of non-automatic Arms for sport and hunting, with respect to the primary right of all people to be free from gun violence, this shall not be infringed.”
Moore added that because men were responsible for an overwhelming majority of shootings in the country, they must first get spousal approval before purchasing a firearm.
