Michael Moore Admits Guns Keep Us Safe

Moore rarely thinks before he tweets, which is why this tweet surprised me:

I can’t believe I’m saying this, but he’s right! When you’re in trouble, you shoot the bad guy and then call the cops. Hiding in a closet and waiting for the cops to show up is not a reliable strategy, unless you’re hiding with a gun.

He also tweeted this:

Here’s my demand: I want every African-American currently incarcerated for drug “crimes” or nonviolent offenses released from prison today.

Nonviolent offenses? What would that be? Identity theft? Writing bad checks? Gee, how are criminals supposed to learn if we don’t punish them? As for the war on drugs, here’s an idea, legalize drugs, then we can talk about releasing drug dealers.

And the rest who r imprisoned- I dont believe 50% of them did what they’re accused of. Lies. Greed. A modern day slave system. Poor whites 2

I’m not exactly a rich white, or middle class white, but I’m not a slave, I have CHOICES. So do the very poor. They can choose to work or steal, to follow the law or break it. I know cops, they hate paperwork, they’re not arresting people that didn’t do the crime. …read more
