Fall Classic 2015 pits the Kansas City Royals against the New York Mets, with pitchers blowing on their hands and batters fogging up your television screen with their breath. Many things can determine which team wins, but keeping players warm and loose is high on that list.

Cold weather changes some aspects of baseball strategy. Pitchers often work inside more than normal, trying to get hitters to strike a ball in on their hands. If they feel the electric shock go through their bodies, it seems to tame them in future at-bats. Fielders have described not being able to sense the ball in their gloves, and having their throwing motions compromised because of the cold.
