Team Sig Captain Max Michel opens 2019 with a bang, winning the first match of the competitive shooting season for Team Sig with his P320X5 and ROMEO3MAX open reflex sight.
Competing in the 2019 Miami Open Jan. 11-13, Michel took first place in the Carry Optics Division. Michel tackled 12 courses of fire, winning 11 with the P320X5 pistol. In addition to the pistol, Michel sported a ROMEO3MAX and Sig Sauer Match Elite Pistol Competition Ammunition.
Michel said the Florida based competition was his first time working the ROMEO3MAX open reflex sight. The waterproof, compact, open reflex sight offers a 30mm max round lens design with a special red-notch filter that delivers a bright red dot. The 6 MOA dot size allows for quick target acquisition while 12 illumination intensities allow shooters to dial in their preferences.
“The Miami Open was my first time running the ROMEO3MAX and it ran perfectly from start to finish. The sun was brutal in Miami for this competition, and while others had issues with their optics, the ROMEO3MAX performed flawlessly,” Michel said in a news release.
