Matt Damon Wants Australian-Style Gun Ban In The U.S.

Matt Damon has spoken passionately against America’s gun culture, saying the United States should follow Australia’s lead in implementing strict gun control legislation.

“You guys did it here in one fell swoop and I wish that could happen in my country, but it’s such a personal issue for people that we cannot talk about it sensibly. We just can’t,” said Damon, who was in Sydney to promote the latest instalment in the Bourne film franchise.

“People get so emotional that even when you make a suggestion about not selling AK47s to people on terror watch lists, that’s a non-starter. I don’t know what needs to happen.

So let me get this straight. The guy from all of the Bourne movies is wanting Australian style gun control laws implemented in The U.S.?

The same guy that kills 22 people in the Bourne Trilogy, primarily with (you guessed it) guns?

It wasn’t too long ago that people were claiming movies like his were one of the reasons for gun violence.
