At approximately 2:40p.m. Wednesday afternoon, 22-year-old Adan Salazar showed up at the Dallas Police Department’s southwest patrol station, threatening to open fire on officers. When Salazar pulled up to the police station, he put on a mask similar to the one worn in the movie V for Vendetta.

Officers confronted Salazar, who admitted he was thinking of shooting up the station. Two 9mm handguns and marijuana were found in Salazar’s car.

“His behavior was very erratic. He was yelling; he was just saying words,” Deputy Chief Albert Martinez, who is in charge of the station, told Dallas News.

“There was a point in time where he made the comment to one of the officers that detained him that he intended to shoot,” Martinez told NBC Dallas-Fort Worth. “He didn’t elaborate if he intended to shoot the station, shoot the officers, but he did say he intended to shoot.”
