MAC’s New Carry Gun: Sphinx SDP Compact

Since I’ve dropped the HK VP9 as my EDC, I’ve been getting many questions about what my carry gun is. It’s the Kriss Sphinx SDP Alpha Compact in 9mm. The Sphinx is a Swiss made CZ type pistol that is of exceptional quality. I do a quick water test on the Sphinx SDP and break down why I carry it.

Th SDP is visually very similar to the polymer-frame CZ P07 that I’ve been carrying for the past few months and now have approximately 2,500 rounds through in daily carry, competition shooting, and tactical training contexts. I’ll be reviewing that handgun later this week.
