LWRCI SMG-45 Release Becomes Company’s First Pistol Caliber Carbine

LWRCI recently announced the release of its newest firearm, the SMG-45. The SMG-45 incorporates LWRCI’s experience with the AR platform, combined with an innovative delayed-blowback/short-recoil operating system. The pistol caliber carbine chambers the .45 ACP cartridge.

“We listened closely to shooters, operators, and customers throughout the development of this exciting new platform for LWRCI,” says David Ridley, Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing. “The SMG is truly a ‘Step-Up’ pistol-caliber carbine that offers our customers innovative features and comfortable ergonomics in a compact package.”

Built around the U.S.-manufactured UMP magazine, the SMG-45 offers a completely new PCC in .45 ACP. The gun features many of the same controls and performance found in LWRCI’s gas-piston AR lineup.
