Little Red Riding Hood Has a Gun, And The Left Is Freaking Out

If you’ve ever read the original versions of many of the fairy tales common in western literature, you’re very well aware that they can be very, very… grim.

Murderous, even.

So children’s book author Amelia Hamilton partnered with NRA Family and is setting out to re-imagine some of them:

Most of us probably grew up having fairy tales read to us as we drifted off to sleep. But how many times have you thought back and realized just how, well, grim some of them are?
