Liberty Dynamic’s New “Smart” Flash-Bang

A new company named Liberty Dynamic will be showing off their new “smart” flash-bang device at the 2019 SHOT Show. Their new programmable flash-bang is called a Enhanced Diversionary Device that they claim is safer and more reliable than traditional flash-bangs.

COLORADO SPRINGS, Co.—January 18, 2019—Liberty Dynamic announced that it will be showcasing for the first time ever its Enhanced Diversionary Device at the SHOT Show® Industry Day at the Range, on January 21, at the Boulder Rifle and Pistol Club, in Boulder City, Nevada.

This new, programmable, enhanced blast flash-bang is designed to be safer than legacy devices still being used by the military and law enforcement. “Our goal is to provide peacekeepers with a reliable first line of defense,” said John Chapman, CEO of Liberty Dynamic.

“The problem with most stun grenades is they can go off when they aren’t supposed to, roll towards an unintended target, cause fires and scatter secondary debris,” said Chapman. “All of that leads to death, injury and lawsuits.”
