Beaverton, OR -(Ammoland.com)- Leupold & Stevens, Inc., is honored to have its VX-3 selected as a “Best of the Test” from Field & Stream magazine.

After a series of tests designed to replicate the worst of in-the-field conditions, the Leupold VX-3 4.5-14x40mm riflescope came out on top. Put up against its competitors in the October 2015 issue, the VX-3 was deemed the superior optic by writer Richard Mann for its resolution, quality and available options.

“While we’ve always known the VX-3 to be America’s favorite riflescope, we’re honored to have Field & Stream come to the same conclusion,” said Shane Meisel, trade marketing manager for Leupold & Stevens, Inc. “Tough, lightweight and the ability to build the perfect riflescope for your needs makes the VX-3 the perfect choice.”

Field & Stream put “tactical” hunting scopes through a series of tests to see which riflescope was truly the best. Mann selected a VX-3 with the TS32-X1 reticle and a set of matching Custom Dial System (CDS) dials.
