Beaverton, OR -(Ammoland.com)- Leupold & Stevens, Inc., in recognition of the more than 50 veterans on staff, once again donated $10,000 to HAVA in their honor.

The $10,000 gift was given on behalf of Leupold & Stevens’ veterans as a part of the annual Veteran’s Day celebration held at the Leupold factory in Beaverton, OR. HAVA, short for Honored American Veterans Afield, was conceived and organized in 2007 by a committee of shooting sports industry executives to help the healing and re-integration of disabled veterans and injured active military back into normal American life through participation in outdoor events.

“We are proud of the service and commitment our veteran team members have shown to our country,” said Bruce Pettet, president and chief executive officer of Leupold & Stevens, Inc. “In honor of their contributions to our freedoms, we are donating to HAVA to help other U.S. servicemen and women reintegrate into American life through outdoor activities.”
