Lightweight and functional, the new Leupold VX 5HD brings performance.

The U.S. Army Precision Rifle Sniper program just settled on its next sniper rifle, the Leupold Mark 5HD. The Leupold 5-25×56 Mark 5HD joins the Barrett MRAD to arm snipers into the foreseeable future.

Mark 5HD Picked for Precision Sniper Rifle Program

The U.S. Army Mark 5HD will come in a proprietary flat dark earth coating. It utilizes the Army’s patented Mil-Grid reticle. The Mark 5HD mounts on the US SOCOM-selected Mk22 Mod 0, based on the Barrett MRAD bolt-action. The multi-caliber system chambers 7.62x51mm NATO, .300 Norma Magnum and .338 Norma Magnum.
