Legendary U.S. Army Marksmanship Unit Shooter Daniel Horner Joins Team SIG

NEWINGTON, N.H.-(Ammoland.com)- SIG SAUER Inc., is pleased to announce multi-discipline World Champion Shooter Daniel Horner has officially joined the SIG SAUER Professional Shooting Team – Team SIG. Horner recently left the service of the U.S. Army where he rose to the rank of Sergeant First Class. He was recruited into the Army to join the U.S. Army Marksmanship Unit (USAMU) where he became one of the most decorated shooters in team history, and served as the Coach of the USAMU Action Shooting Team.

“I started shooting at six years old when I would go to the range with my Dad. When I was twelve years old I shot my first IDPA match, at sixteen I won my first IDPA national title, and at eighteen I enlisted in the U.S. Army to join the AMU,” began Horner. “For basically my entire life I have been shooting competitively, and for as long as I can remember it’s been a lifelong goal of mine to shoot professionally.
