USA -(Ammoland.com)- Look, up in the sky! And on rivers and lakes, too – waterfowl are everywhere.

Come to the Pennsylvania Game Commission’s headquarters Sunday, March 12 for program that will help viewers to identify which waterfowl species is which.

“Basic Waterfowl Identification,” a public event to be led by the agency’s wildlife conservation officers, is scheduled to be held from 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the Game Commission’s headquarters, 2001 Elmerton Ave. in Harrisburg. Doors open at 1 p.m.

Children attending the program must be accompanied by an adult.

Light refreshments will be provided, and those attending also will have the opportunity to view the display of waterfowl artworks, including the winners and other works submitted to the 2016-17 Federal Duck Stamp contest, as well as a number of original paintings by famed artist Ned Smith.

There is no fee to attend, however, pre-registration is required by March 9 by calling 717-787-4250 ext. 3504 and providing your name, phone number and the number in your party.
